ECCO, the Italian climate think tank

ECCO is the Italian, independent and non-profit think tank dedicated to energy transition and climate change with a national, European and global focus. Its mission is to accelerate climate action in Italy and around the world. 

The Italian name “ ECCO ” contains the initials of its main themes, energy, climate change, and at the same time draws attention to the urgency and importance of innovating and acting for the climate. 

ECCO contributes its independence and expertise to research transformative climate solutions in the public interest. These solutions are backed by fact- and science-based analysis and implementation strategies. ECCO will be an active agent of change through communication, advocacy and diplomacy.
