Fundación Jóvenes y Desarrollo (JyD) / Youth And Development Foundation

We are a Salesian NGO committed to the education and development of the most vulnerable populations in the world. We work mainly in three fields: development cooperation , development education, and global citizenship and volunteering. 

Our work in the world is committed to the promotion and development of children and youth, making their right to education effective with a special emphasis on technical training . To this end, Jóvenes y Desarrollo carries out cooperation actions in countries of Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Oceania. All these actions often have the support of international volunteers.

Our work in Spain focuses on raising awareness among the population, with special attention to the youngest, promoting values of justice, peace, equity, democracy, participation, solidarity and respect . In addition, we promote international volunteering as one of the most direct channels to exercise solidarity.

JyD is a consolidated NGO that, with more than 30 years of existence, is present in 16 headquarters and offices in Spain, divided into four regional areas with regional offices in Bilbao, Valencia, Córdoba, León and Madrid.
