CESAL (Haiti)

Our work in Haiti began in 2007 with an intervention on food security in rural areas bordering the Dominican Republic. Throughout these years we have carried out important work in border communities linked to improvements in access to education, the economic development of small farmers and the empowerment of peasant women in order to strengthen their resilience, generate a greater economic impact and thus optimize the living conditions in these rural communities.

From a regional/binational perspective, we work for dialogue and meetings between the different border actors , deepening knowledge about the problems and social groups in this region, based on actions that reinforce territorial governance, promote more sustainable livelihoods, They fight against deforestation and the conservation of the biodiversity of the ecosystems.
