Mesa Multisectorial Bosque Modelo de Puerto Rico

The Puerto Rico National Model Forest is a territorial management proposal created by Law 182-2014. This management is focused on working in alliance with a common vision towards the sustainable development of an extensive landscape, where different uses, activities and values of the land coexist.

Mission
Promote new paradigms and practices to enhance the sustainable development and conservation of our agricultural and forest region, turning citizens into the main axis of the protection of their natural environment while developing tourism, cultural and agricultural initiatives, among others.

Vision
A large regional community in which its inhabitants promote development in harmony with nature, creating a new model of a sustainable and fair country.
