Who We Are
The Centre for Development and Policy Advocacy (CEDEPA) is a youth-led development, research and advocacy organisation operating in Northern Ghana with an office in Tamale. It was founded in 2013 and incorporated in July 2014.

Our Mission
Our core mission is to fight poverty and eliminate vulnerability in society, through cutting-edge research, evidence-based development interventions and or policy advocacy.

Our Vision
Our vision is to be the leading centre in Ghana and across sub-Saharan Africa, in driving public policy towards the promotion of a free and fair society, in which there are equal opportunities for all manner of persons.

-Research, baseline studies, monitoring and evaluation, staff training, organisational capacity building and consultancy services.

-Policy advocacy, public education and sensitisation on various social issues, such as, child streetism, kayaaye migration, child trafficking, child rights protection, adolescent SRHR, WASH, etc.

-Education and livelihood skills training for poor, vulnerable and underserved groups- women, girls, youth and people with disabilities.

-Promotion of peace and security-inter-ethnic, inter-faith harmony, prevention of religious extremism and political and election violence.

-Promotion of good governance, civic engagement and social accountability.
