PYECSO is a nongovernmental, non-political and non-profitable organization registered with the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. as well as is member with Afghanistan Education cluster, Gender in Humanitarian action workgroup (GIH WG), Afghanistan Youth Workgroup (AY WG) and partner with UNECSO/ Afghanistan Youth and Adult Basic Education(YABE). This organization was founded in 2006 under the name of PYECSA but Later on with regard to the changes made to the main goals and objectives of the organization and formal requirements of the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan for the registration purposes the name of PYECSA was changed to PYECSO.
