Habitat for Humanity (Honduras)

Habitat for Humanity Honduras is a private civil development association, non-profit, apolitical, non-governmental, Christian in nature, and with its own assets. They obtained their legal status in 1993. The first houses were built in the village of San Isidro, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Yojoa. Its National Office is located in the city of San Pedro Sula and has 7 regional offices located in: Santa Cruz de Yojoa, San Pedro Sula, Siguatepeque, Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba, Copán and Aguán. HPHH has supported more than 29,539 Honduran families in the construction or improvement of their housing, benefiting more than 250 thousand Hondurans. An average of six (6) housing solutions are built every day.
