Description
GECOTTI -PE is a European Economic Interest Group (EEIG) created in 2004 by the Hauts-de-France Region and the Walloon Region .
The GEIE GECOTTI-PE currently hosts four Secretariats representing three Interreg Programmes and the European Urban Initiative , funded by the European Commission for a total amount of approximately one billion euros over the 2021-2027 Programming period.
The entire Secretariat and Management teams include 103 employees of 24 different nationalities (as of 12/31/2022).
The GEIE GECOTTI-PE , although managing public European funds, is a private law structure.
