Emmaus International is an international movement unlike any other!!

Emmaus International is a decentralised organisation. In other words some of its tasks are delegated to the 4 regions to which the member groups belong (Africa, America, Asia and Europe). It operates on a triptych system of member groups / elected representatives / employees.

It has 337 groups spread over 37 countries reaching to the 4 corners of the world and dating back to 1971. The international headquarters is in France. The Emmaus groups work with and for the poorest in society, to fight against the causes of exclusion in a wide variety of different economic and political contexts.
