Karvina Sustainably Z. S

Karvina sustainably is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to create the district of Karvina more sustainable in terms of socio-economic and environmental development. More precisely, this non-governmental organisation puts emphasis on SDG's fulfilment and creating a more inclusive and peaceful society. The Karvina district belongs to the most heavy industrial parts of the Czech Republic.

Karvina Sustainably was founded in 2021 by a group of active students and youthworkersdwelling in the Karvina district. This group is eager to follow the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals agenda 2030 by the UN and become an important voice in development of former heavy industrial area. The main activity is to work regularly throughout the year and to strive for sustainability in the area of work with children, youth and adults by means offormal and informal education. Apart from Czech citizens, Karvina Sustainably z. s. aims toprovide informational and advisory services to youth, as well as the general public on the problematic of sustainability and protection of our planet, as well as non-formal education, leisure activities for children, youth and adults. Moreover, Karvina Sustainably actively contributes to the environmental and animal protection, fighting racisim and xenofobia.
