Soproni Szakképzési Centrum / Sopron Vocational Training Center

The Sopron Vocational Training Center began operating on July 1, 2015. It initially operated six vocational training institutions, and then two more in September 2019. Our four vocational training institutions in Sopron, two in Csorna, and one each in Kapuvár and Fertőd operate with a student population of over three thousand, and nearly a thousand adults participate in our professional education and training.

Our vocational training institutions offer a wide range of vocational training options for students and adults who want to learn. Our schools currently offer training in 17 sectors, 26 technical schools and 17 vocational schools. Our financial technical training courses are available in two languages of instruction. Furthermore, there is also the possibility of obtaining a certificate in technical training in the sectors of Business Administration and Management and Education.

Our schools have well-equipped workshops and modern machinery and equipment. Our students continue their practical studies at small and large companies and business organizations in the region, within the framework of dual training. We provide students with comfortable accommodation in our two dormitories. We also place great emphasis on the professional education of adults, and our training courses are popular in the region.

Our goal is to provide our students with a marketable profession and solid knowledge, while also providing a skilled workforce for the region's economic actors. We believe that the future lies in vocational training, and the renewed vocational training system offers more flexible learning paths to competitive professions.
