Association Terra

TERRA association is a non-profit, non-government organization established in 1998. on the initiative of a group of experts (medical doctors, pedagogue, psychologist, social workers) involved in work of several local institutions (Red cross, Clinic Hospital Centre  in Rijeka) and foreign organizations (IFRC, UNHCR).

Mission of the association is promoting the idea of humanity and philanthropy trough work with vulnerable and marginalized groups of people, with the goal of developing society in which every individual can execute his rights and develop into a responsible and influential participant of the society.

Values Terra promotes: humanity, tolerance, equality, solidarity, compassion, responsibility, openness, accessibility, truthfulness and professionalism.

All activities of the association are conducted by a team of professionals (5 professionally equipped workers: medical doctor, sanitarian engineer, psychologist, theologist, psychotherapist), with the support of the volunteers and external collaborators (defectologist, psychiatrist and lawyer). The work of the association is coordinated and supervised by the Administrative board with 4 members.
