PNPM Mandiri

PNPM Mandiri Rural is a core part of PNPM Mandiri and was developed from the Kecamatan Development Program (PPK) which was launched in 1998. The overall goal of PNPM Mandiri in Rural Areas is to alleviate poverty and improve regional governance in rural areas of Indonesia through the provision of investment resources in support of productive proposals that developed by the community, using a participatory planning process. The major benefits of the PNPM program is to generate additional employment and the corresponding additional income, primarily for poor unskilled labor.
