Egalite International

Egalite International is a non-governmental organization that focuses on democratic development, conflict prevention and good governance.

Egalite aims to create better conditions for sustainable development, peace and justice in Ukraine and Central Asia through the implementation of campaigns for democratic development, human rights, support for vulnerable groups (women) and conflict prevention/resolution activities. Our programs create new information landscape and benefit environments for reconciliation and peace, and provide new learning and communication opportunities for various actors.

Egalite issued over 100 analytical papers, more than 20 textbooks and methodological recommendations, and implemented 51 development projects. In 2014, the Egalite team, which previously consisted of specialists in conflict science, public policy, media and human rights, was complemented by experts in the field of economics and innovation.

In 2015, Egalite International was granted a Certificate of Award of the Government of the Republic of France #АЕ8249561, code 1522 du 14 juillet 2015 for an outstanding contribution in peace building and public policy analysis.

Since 2018, Egalite hosts the programs for social entrepreneurs and financial sustainability for SBO and partners organizations in Germany and Moldova.

Egalite supports decentralization reforms and brings together 50 NGOs and community leaders to find decisions on complex questions of interaction between territorial «hromadas» and their sustainable and peaceful development, empowers and train 500 women in economic development and human rights protection («Bus of Solidarity» Innovative Campaign to empower, network and provide women to access to capital) and improves performances of local governments in analytics and implementation of National development plans.
