INSTAT - Institut Nationale de la Statistique

The National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) is the official statistical service of Mali created in 2009 by Ordonnance n ° 09-016 / P-RM of March 20th, 2009 transforming the National Direction of the Statistics and the Computer science in a public institution of a scientific and technological nature. Its activities are organized within the more general framework of the statistical system of Mali governed by the statistical law of 2005.

The INSTAT is an administrative structure placed under the authority of the Minister in charge of statistics. Its powers and organization are regulated by Decree No. 09-126 / P-RM of March 20, 2009.
