Consorcio Provincial de Medio Ambiente de Albacete (CPMAA)

The Albacete Provincial Environmental Consortium is an entity created to manage and coordinate environmental activities in the province of Albacete. It is conceived as a collaborative structure between different public entities (municipalities and the Provincial Council) with the aim of promoting environmental policies and projects in a joint and supportive manner. The consortium is responsible for various functions, such as waste management and treatment, promoting the use of renewable energy, protecting and conserving the natural environment, promoting environmental education, managing protected natural areas and adopting measures to improve environmental quality, seeking to protect and conserve natural resources and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.
