Eva Crane Trust

The Eva Crane Trust aims to advance the understanding of all species of bees and beekeeping by the collection, collation and dissemination of science and research worldwide. This is achieved by providing financial support to academic researchers, citizens scientists, international conferences and the publication of specialist books. 

The Trust was formed by Dr Eva Crane in 2002. A well-respected scientist in her own right, Dr Crane had travelled the world to expand her own vast knowledge of bees, beekeeping and bee history and recognised the importance of innovative research and sharing that knowledge. It was her wish to support bee research and to advance the understanding of bees and beekeeping, and thus the Trust was established. (Learn more about Dr Eva Crane)
