The Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation is the Italian branch of the international non-profit organization Ronald McDonald House Charities, which works to promote the well-being of children receiving medical care away from home. Believing that a united family is a powerful medicine, the Foundation provides support and accommodation to families through its Ronald Houses, which are located near major hospitals in Italy, and Family Rooms, located within pediatric hospital wards. These spaces were born from a simple idea: everyone should have access to the best possible care, even if it means being far from home, and without any additional burden on those facing the illness of a child.
