About
Former Jane Goodall Tendaguru Wildlife Trust a NGO, now community conservation wildlife organisation, based in Tanzania, since November 2008, and has established a private conservation area entitled “Jane Goodall Wildlife Conservation Area” in Lindi Region.
Mission: Development and sustainable use of natural resources for the benefit of the people through sustainable agriculture, the provision of safe water and social services including health and education, and sustainable eco-tourism; wildlife and environmental protection.
The Trust’s overall objectives are:
- To improve livelihoods
- To reduce poverty
- To improve health conditions
- To enhance environmental and human security through sustainable resource management in the area.
