FONDAM - Fondation Mutijima

FONDATION MUTIJIMA (FONDAM) is a multidisciplinary NGO working in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with legal personality dated 23rd August 2011. Its Headquarters is based in Goma Northern Kivu. Fondation Mutijima Fondam intervene in different domains related to : Education, Environment, Human Rights, Culture, Health , community, Infrastructure, Habitant and Economy.

The Fondam Vision is to build and reinforce capacity of local communities aiming at improving their social well-being for their auto development and universal participation.

Our objectives are:

• Establishing education projects from the low level of Nursery up to University and technical schools to provide needed skills on the labor market for job creation and personnel social- economic development
• The promotion of Environmental management and conservation to improve wellbeing of habitant at local, national and international level
• Mobilizing resources to support local development at the base by creating different projects related to durable development
• Contribute to improve the well-being of the general population, reinforce the social cohesion, food security
• Conducting research in rural and urban areas by focusing on the turning the community needs into realizable projects
• Create the access conditions to innovations and techniques to ameliorate the paysans lives by improving their agriculture and livestock activities
• Initiate and educate local population on basic technics related to agro-forest and conservations activities
• Train and conscientization (Mobilization) on Human rights respects (rights of women, children and vulnerable people and gender balances
• Youth and women capacity building through Business incubation actives and the operations of small business.
• The promotion of health and family planning
• Infrastructures rehabilitations in general.
