About
Established in 1993, NFDN is an organization founded by Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) dedicated to ensuring and promoting the rights of people with disabilities. Over the years, we have actively engaged in advocacy and campaigns, capacity building, awareness raising and networking and collaboration aligned with the human rights of persons with disabilities and the Disability Inclusive Development (DID) approach. NFDN, with its extensive network of 400 OPD members across all districts of Nepal and seven provincial offices, boasts a strong coordination with government stakeholders at all levels. Our project team and board members comprise dedicated professionals with expertise in disability rights, inclusive development, and disability movement.
