AGEL Hospital Nový Jičín as is the only hospital in its region with a comprehensive structure of healthcare provided. Its catchment area includes 170,000 inhabitants. AGEL Nový Jičín Hospital also includes a supraregional top-notch oncology center - KOC - AGEL Nový Jičín Comprehensive Oncology Center . Since January 2006, the AGEL Comprehensive Oncology Center has been part of a network of fourteen oncology departments throughout the Czech Republic, which meet the demanding requirements set by the Czech Oncology Society. Another detached clinical oncology department is located in Ostrava-Vítkovice and in Karviná.

AGEL Nový Jičín Hospital also includes Vítkov Hospital, which provides healthcare in the fields of rehabilitation, internal medicine, radiology and imaging methods, clinical biochemistry and hematology, and care for long-term ill patients.
