About
The Center for Monitoring Quality in Health Care (CMJ) is the central unit of the Ministry of Health. It was established by the Minister of Health in 1994 to inspire and support activities aimed at improving the quality of medical services provided by medical entities. The detailed scope of activities is specified in the statute published by the order of the Minister of Health of September 29, 2023.
The main tasks of CMJ include:
- conducting accreditation visits to assess compliance with standards,
- recruitment of accreditation visitors,
- creating and providing opinions on standards,
- conducting pro-quality projects,
- developing and monitoring quality of care indicators,
- cooperation with the RPP, NFZ, RA ...
- conducting patient opinion surveys
