Kazan Soda Elektrik Uretim

Kazan Soda is one of the two companies of WE Soda operating in Türkiye. Kazan Soda Elektrik is the largest natural Heavy Soda Ash and Sodium Bicarbonate producer in Europe.

Kazan Soda Elektrik, located in the northwest of Ankara, consists of 3 separate units: mining, process and cogeneration power plant. The investment budget of the project is 1.9 Billion US Dollars.

At the Kazan Soda facility; 3 million tons of Heavy Soda Ash (Sodium Carbonate) and Sodium Bicarbonate are produced annually.

Heavy Soda Ash (Sodium Carbonate) and Sodium Bicarbonate, which are used in many sectors from glass production to baking powder, are exported to many parts of the world, especially to the European Union countries, and provide significant export revenues to the country's economy.

Kazan Soda is a production facility that closely follows sectoral developments and follows environmentally friendly and sustainable policies in mining, energy and waste management. Approximately 700 people are employed at the Kazan Soda Electric facility.
