Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resource of Somalia

The Ministry of Fisheries Marine Resources was established with the aim to enhance fisheries and marine resources sector, visibility streamline decision-making so that it is more responsive and proactive in facilitating the suitable development of the fisheries.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources is responsible the general Administration, Government’s developmental objectives and political mandate, responsible machinery for the fisheries policy formulation, development of skilled manpower, development for adequate national laws regarding and fishing regulation liability responsibility for developing and providing the framework within its Goal, strategic objectives and foundation principles to operate.
