About
The French Committee for IUCN
Established in 1992, the French Committee for IUCN is the network of organizations and experts from the International Union for Conservation of Nature in France.
It brings together in a unique partnership two departments, 13 government agencies, 41 NGOs and over 250 experts met in specialized committees and thematic working groups.
For this mixed composition, it is a unique platform for dialogue and expertise on biodiversity issues, also involving local communities and businesses.
The IUCN French Committee has set itself two main tasks: responding to biodiversity issues in France and promote French expertise internationally
