Building Material Producers Association of Turkey, since its establishment in 1984, is a non-governmental organization representing the construction industry domestically and abroad. By accepting membership in industry associations and stakeholders industrialist alongside members of the Association members to reveal the true power sector and to ensure that forces were not organized as an umbrella organization for example in Turkey.
30 industry associations, 81 industry sectors and stakeholder organizations members with effective point of more than 21 thousand in the industry in reaching that Turkey Building Material Producers Association (Turkey IMSAD), Turkey to handle construction materials, the industry as a whole, sustainable growth and the need domestically as well as abroad It aims to develop the cooperation. This according to internal developments in the market closely watching the one hand, the increase in exports from the other side of success is closely following objectives in order to maintain foreign markets. Establishing a representative office in Brussels in 2011, carrying out sectoral projects, reports, issuing IMSAD Turkey, it is being led by the many projects funded by the European Commission.
Turkey held every year starting from 2009 by IMSAD "International Quality Summit in construction" the most effective knowledge of the construction industry, vision and idea sharing platform has become the industry's most important activity of the state. With regard to development and construction industry impact on Turkey's economy IMSAD publishes regular monthly and special agenda of economic reports every three months, organizes meetings of sector-focused economy. With 52.1 billion dollars in the domestic market size IMSAD Turkey, Turkey's export leader with 21.2 billion dollars. 75 percent of these exports were carried out by members of Turkey IMSAD. Turkey, employing 1.5 million workers IMSAD members, 7.5 percent of the total population with family represents a sector directly related.
