France Terre d'Asile

France terre d'asile, an association founded in 1971, aims to maintain and develop asylum, one of the oldest French traditions, and to guarantee in France the application of all relevant international conventions. France terre d'asile hosts and offers legal and social support to asylum seekers and refugees in France. The organization also conducts legal and political work to defend asylum, information activities, approaches and interventions to national and European institutions and decision-makers in the field of asylum. She is a member of the Executive Council of the European Council of Exiles (ECRE) and has ECOSOC consultative status with the UN.
