Brain Research Trust is the umbrella charity for research into conditions of the brain and nervous system. We were established in 1971 to promote and support research into the causes, treatment, prevention and cure of neurological diseases.

We fund basic and clinical research at University College London’s world-renowned Institute of Neurology (IoN). Since Brain Research Trust was founded, we have given over £40 million to the IoN to help finance their research programmes and PhD studentships.
