Friends Sweden

Friends is a non-profit organization whose mission is to stop bullying. We train and support schools, nursery schools and sports clubs in the country. Our vision is a society where children and young people grow up in safety and equality.

Friends working in the long term through education, counseling and advocacy to increase the knowledge and involvement of adults and children. Today we have nearly 40 employees with varying backgrounds. The common denominator is that all have extensive experience in working with children and young people such as educators, teachers, sports coaches, behavioral scientists and the like. Through four regional offices Friendswood represented in the country and has since 1997 worked with about 1,500 schools.

Operations are financed through the collection from individuals and businesses, as well as through fees from the programs that we implement. Friends have a so-called 90-account and reviewed by the Swedish Fundraising Control.
