Abilis Foundation Member

The Abilis Foundation sends funds to projects in poor nations that are conceived, implemented and supervised by persons with disabilities with a focus on grassroots organizations.

Abilis Foundation's activities are guided by a strategy that envisions a world in which individuals with disabilities are aware of their human rights and actively work to achieve those rights and are on a par with their fellow humans in every manner by promoting human rights, equal opportunity, independent living and activities planned by people with disabilities in developing nations and Eastern Europe.

It provides financial assistance and informative, academic and consultative services that focus on the necessity of actual inclusion and engagement of people with disabilities in all efforts, as well as collaboration with other disability sector actors.
