Crown Agents is an international development company committed to global development and growth. Crown Agents works with leaders to accelerate self-sufficiency and prosperity. We offer supply chain, fund management, programme design and evaluation, training, institutional efficiency and revenue generation expertise.
We do this across health, humanitarian, stabilisation, governance and public administration, prosperity and renewable energy.
Since the early 1990s we have provided supply chain, financial, capacity building and consultancy services for development projects, including those supported by DFID and various government bodies. Our support to reform the National Revenue Authority and implement a new tax (GST) helped to generate increases in tax revenue:
2010 GST collected - £38 million and increase of GDP tax ratio of 3.2%
2011 GST collected - £46 million and an increase of GDP tax ratio of 3.5%
With the National Public Procurement Authority we also helped to reform procurement and bring transparency and consistency to procurement processes. In addition we are developing and managing a new central medical stores to ensure availability of essential drugs and medical commodities.
