URDO - United Rural Development Organization

United Rural Development Organization (URDO) was established in December 1997 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization- aiming humanitarian assistance and human development of the marginalized segments in the country. It was registered in February 1998 with the Registrar Joint Stock Companies as a Society under Societies Act of 1860. 

URDO is working across multiple development sectors including education, human rights peace, democracy, gender and reproductive health and other community development sectors across Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and FATA region.

URDO Mission: to organize and strengthen the public interest organization, networks to empower the disadvantaged section of society including minority, differently able, children and women to take charge of their prioritize needs and rights to achieve just and dignified share in development process.
