Created as a subsidiary of APAVE SUDEUROPE in 1996, AETS specialises in technical advice and assistance in Risk Management. Its assignments are conducted for the benefit of national authorities, local institutions or private operators, in the context of international projects financed by multilateral organisations such as European Commission, the World Bank, IFC, the Inter-American Development Bank, the United Nations, the French Development Agency and the Regional Development Banks (Africa, Asia, Latin America, etc.). AETS is an independent consulting company operating across a wide range of development sectors, both in Europe and worldwide. It has an in-house and associated multi-disciplinary team of internationally-experienced experts, comprising engineers, technicians, economists, financial and institutional analysts, legal and regulatory specialists. Services provided by AETS relate to the management of technical risks in the food chain, the energy sector, industry (oil & gas, manufacturing, etc) and the environment. They comprise economic and strategic studies, legal and regulatory gap analysis with international and EU practices, and capacity building to strengthen regional institutions, private sector companies and authorities.
