Ecuador and Canada have a friendly history that dates back to the previous century, which includes cultural, political, cooperative and educational exchanges. Our Embassy has been continuously present in Ecuador since 1995, with its offices located in Quito. This has allowed us to strengthen our bond with the Ecuadorian Government, and Ecuadorian citizens in general. In 2015 we are celebrating 20 years in Quito. Additionally, we maintain an honorary consulate in Guayaquil. The Embassy also offers extensive services for Canadians, including: citizenship registration, passport application and assistance in emergency situations.
