Description:

Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

124OLT23R0016- GAOA Wall RD Aggregate Placement project, Nebraska National Forest.

   This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals                                                                                                                       necessary to:  

 Reconditioning a designated 3.0 miles of NFSR 7116 Steer Pasture Road per Base Item (with Optional Items for additional designated reconditioning) to a fourteen (14) foot wide roadway in preparation for purchasing, hauling, and placing specified aggregate base course per Base Item as Shown on the Drawings and in the Specifications. At the approximate Mile Posts shown for drainage crossings, purchase, haul, and place specified geotextile, riprap, and rock per Schedule of Items and as Shown on the Drawings. Additional reconditioning roadway work with placement of specified aggregate base course, geotextile material, riprap, and rock for the Optional Items as indicated on Drawings.

                                                      

 Project Location: State of Nebraska, Nebraska National Forest & Grasslands, Buffalo National Grasslands, Wall Ranger District.

Solicitation Number 124OLT23R0016 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about March 21, 2023.  This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.

There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects:  The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
