NOTE: Details of items contained in the lots are provided in the RFB document to be purchased. Bidders may pick out any one complete lot or many lots of their preference. Award of contracts shall be per complete lot.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Edward Jeke, +265888406000 Email: ebwjeke@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:00Hrs to 16:30 Hrs at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK170,000 or US$100. The method of payment will be in Cash. The document will be sent by email or bidder may come in person to collect from the SAVE PIU office.
6. Bids must be delivered (by depositing in a tender box after registering them with the Procurement Office) to the address below on or before 20th February 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Securing Declaration,”.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
