Design/Build and Operate of a Mechanical-Biological Waste Treatment Plant

Objectives: The tender aims to design, build, and operate a Mechanical-Biological Waste Treatment Plant in Al Ghabawi, Amman Governorate, Jordan. The facility will primarily treat municipal solid waste (MSW), source-separated organics (SSO), and recyclable materials. Planned outputs include refuse-derived fuel (RDF), compost, and sorted recyclables. The project spans a design and build phase of 18 months, followed by a 3-year operation period, with capacity-building initiatives to train local staff. It is intended to enhance waste management efficiency and environmental sustainability in the region.
