Public Financial Management Strengthening Project

With the grant assistance received from the European Union and Agency Franchise de Development (EU&AFD) through the World Bank, decision has been taken by the Department of Public Finance, Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to hire fourteen (14) individual consultants indicated below for the e-GP Secretariat initially for a period of one year tenure and will be extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Junior ICT Consultant - Infrastructure - 02 Posts

To ensure the efficient operation of information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining IT systems, networks, and applications to support the organization's daily operations. The Junior ICT Consultant’s role is crucial in safeguarding data integrity, ensuring network security, and providing timely technical support to users.

A completed Bachelor’s Degree in IT or ICT or Technology field recognized by the University Grants Commission OR an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission.

OR

Professional qualifications in IESL or ICE UK in Computer Engineering or Networks

OR

Higher National Diploma in Engineering / National Diploma Technology / Diploma in Technology and Specialization in Computer Engineering

OR

Relevant technological certification, like BICSI or CNID/CNIDP

And

Specialization in communication technology, Networking, and cloud-based technologies is an advantage

Minimum 03 years of post-qualifying experience in the Network and System Engineering architecture and design field.

Good command of communication skills.

Method of Selection: Selection will be based on qualification and experience, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Basis for hiring individual consultants: Consultants are hired for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Consultancy fee: Individual consultants will be compensated on a monthly basis according to the negotiated rate.

Candidates are allowed to apply for more than one position. However, they should submit a statement of preference for the positions they have applied for.
