Objectives: The objective of the tender is to develop and implement an e-learning concept focusing on the Just Energy Transition for municipal officials in South Africa. This digital training program is designed to address the complexities of transitioning to sustainable energy while navigating regulatory reforms. The training aims to enhance the understanding of sustainable energy practices, regulatory frameworks, and equitable solutions for municipal officials, thus empowering them to effectively manage and implement energy transition initiatives. The program also targets enhancing capabilities in senior managers in municipal, national, and provincial spheres, as well as other interested stakeholders, including industry professionals, CSOs, academia, and entrepreneurs. The course incorporates international cases to foster a comprehensive understanding of key concepts and practical applications related to a just energy transition.
