Modernization and Integration of Generation and Transmission Planning Methodologies in the Context

Objectives: This assignment aims to develop a methodology that integrates the Generation and Transmission Reference Expansion Plan (PERGT) components, considering the nature of each one (transmission as a mandatory component, generation as indicative). This methodology should automate the investment evaluation and selection processes, considering the socio-environmental, socio-economic, technical, resilience, energy adaptability and other benefits of integrating non-conventional renewable energy sources, such as Offshore Wind. The results should be reflected in selecting transmission expansion scenarios that make such investments viable and prioritising them in allocating interconnection points.
