Objectives: The EDMEJ Program in Tunisia, implemented by GIZ and co-financed by the European Union, aims to enhance the economic and social integration of returning Tunisians, displaced populations, and host communities. The program focuses on capacity building, socio-economic reintegration, and improving access to protection for vulnerable groups. Key objectives include strengthening the Office of Tunisians Abroad, enhancing economic inclusion through networking and referral systems, increasing diaspora remittances, and protecting refugees and asylum seekers in Tunisia and Morocco. The program emphasizes local ownership, data quality improvement, capacity building, and synergies to ensure project success and sustainability.
