Sri Lanka Decentralized Sludge Management Improvement Project

Objectives: The objective of this project is to improve the decentralized sludge management and sludge fertilizer production in Sri Lanka, identify sustainable sludge management and sludge fertilizer production methods, draft relevant national standards and municipality ordinances, establish technical support and training systems, and create and disseminate guidelines for improved decentralized sludge management based on project outcomes, thereby contributing to the establishment and proliferation of sustainable decentralized sludge management and sludge fertilizer production systems.
