Developing Municipal Agricultural Development Plan

Objectives: The primary goal of this tender is to engage a consultancy firm with the needed expertise to help selected municipalities in Nepal formulate a Municipal Agricultural Development Plan (MADP) that lasts for ten years. The special focus areas include improving agricultural productivity and enhancing market systems through better availability and accessibility of agricultural inputs and technology. The plan also aims to align with federal and provincial policies driving economic growth and achieving food security and poverty reduction. Collaboration with local municipalities and the Provincial Agriculture Ministry is also targeted.
