Bangladesh: Economic and Sectoral Assessment for Expanding Climate Smart Agro-technologies in Barind

Objectives: The primary objective is to conduct a comprehensive assessment on expanding water resilient agricultural practices in the Barind region of Northern Bangladesh. This involves identifying technical and policy-oriented bottlenecks and expanding the knowledge base via stakeholder consultation across 8 upazilas in Rajshahi division. The goal is to build a data-driven knowledge base utilized by the World Bank to engage in dialogues with the Government of Bangladesh, providing recommendations for future Climate Smart Agro-Value Chain programs aimed at increasing the adoption of climate adaptation practices.
