Objectives: This project aims to increase climate resilience and reduce flood and drought risk in the Bogotá region by mainstreaming ecosystem-based adaptation, fostering sustainable livelihoods, promoting integrated water resource management, and establishing financial mechanisms for long-term sustainability. It targets enhancing water security for urban and rural communities through nature-based solutions, governance, and science-backed decision-making. The project addresses challenges posed by climate change, emphasizing collaboration among public, private, and community sectors to improve socio-economic and environmental conditions.
