Individual Consultant for Political Economy Analysis of Dadaab Refugee Hosting

Objectives: Develop a strong contextual understanding of refugee-host community dynamics through Political Economy Analysis; Analyze economic, political, security, and humanitarian factors shaping Kenya's policy on socioeconomic integration of refugees; Understand power dynamics between refugees and host communities, including formal and informal economies, grievances, agendas, motivations, actions, local political and social histories; Analyze political and economic factors driving refugee displacement, including root causes of conflict, political instability, and economic disparities; Assess socio-economic impacts of refugee inflows, including benefits and challenges; Identify potential policy interventions; Make policy/program recommendations based on findings from analysis.
