LBN-CO-IC-04-25 Agricultural Equipment Assessment Consultant – Analysis for LARI

Objectives: The project aims at improving food security in Lebanon through the enhancement of the availability of certified wheat seed production, wheat value chain, and the improvement of agricultural livelihoods. The project will revive the non-operational LARI’s seed generation program, which will produce and supply certified wheat seeds and saplings sufficient to meet the local demand of farmers. Additionally, it seeks to enhance mechanization within the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI) centers to support wheat production. The overall goal is to strengthen Lebanon’s food security by ensuring efficient and sustainable agricultural practices.
