TA-9950 REG: PF: Data Science and System Design Expert - Output 4 (54079-001)

Objectives: A consultant in the role of a Data Science and System Design Expert is required to provide technical support and inputs to the Department of Animal husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Government of India on the pandemic fund grant project on ‘Animal Health Security Strengthening for Pandemic Preparedness and Response in India’. The Pandemic Fund Secretariat approved the $25 million proposal submitted by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying (MoFAD), Government of India on “Animal Health Security Strengthening in India for Pandemic Preparedness and Response.” This project aims to enhance the country's capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to animal health threats. It is being implemented through three implementing entities: Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The project is designed to enhance India's animal health security by strengthening data systems, analytics, risk analysis, and risk communication by upgrading data management systems and enhancing analytics capabilities to enable better risk assessment, improved decision-making, and more effective communication strategies related to animal health risks.
