Objectives: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) aims to integrate gender considerations into Tajikistan's development strategies, identifying gender gaps, challenges, and opportunities for gender equality and empowerment. This will include a comprehensive Gender Assessment to ensure gender equality is embedded in the Country Partnership Strategy (CPS). The assessment will analyze key gender disparities in sectors such as transport, energy, education, health, agriculture, social protection, and governance, and provide actionable recommendations for promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls.
